-Water scarcity affects the community by many factors. One reason is because it limits the amount of water people can use for watering for for even cooking and drinking. - What do members of your family and community say about the issue?
-Water scarcity is a very important issue and should be taken seriously and not be played around with. It is also smart to cut back on water usage such as when we wash dishes, take showers/bathes, and brush our teeth. - How does this issue affect households and local residents?
-It affects households and local residents in different ways. One way is because it limits the amount of water that can be used on certain things. - How does this issue affect area businesses?
-If businesses depend on water for the services they provide such as crops on a farm or even washing hair at a hair salon, they might not get as much business because they need to cut back on their water supply and will eventually go out of business if they can not supply that service. - How does this issue affect our government at the local, state, and national levels?
-It affects us at a local state because you will personally have to cut back on your water usage. It will affect us at a state level because new laws might be passed about water usage to prevent too much water from going to waste. It will affect us at a national level because the government will try to regulate usage of water and along with many other factors involving that. - How does this issue affect the rest of the world?
-There are many countries who are poor and depend on water for their income such as crops and/or fishing. Many countries who don't/can't get a lot of water in the first place might not be able to make it in the world with a less water supply or limit than they're already getting. - How does the issue affect resources, goods and services, and finances?
-Water is a part of many daily goods and services such as lawn care and hair salons. If the price of water goes up, people will be paying even more and struggling more with their money and trying to keep their business open with such high prices of water. If they don't make enough profit in their business to pay for water then they will most likely run out of business sooner than they thought.
