1.Examine the possible solutions against your criteria.Make a statement about how each possible solution either meets or does not meet each of your criteria. -First, A water agreement would be good because it does give us a back up plan. In a case we don't have any water left as a resource we could always use whoevers water we are in an agreement with, but it would not be the best option because if they are in that situation and so are we then we will both be out of luck with no water. Next, water heaters which meet the criteria because we will be using less water. By having the heaters the water will already be heated up or get heated up faster and we won't be wasting water. The downfall is that we will be paying even more money to get these heaters and keep them running as long as possible. Lastly, is the water limit which I think this meets the criteria fully and is the best option because even though some residents/house owners may find it unfair, the water will be evenly distributed among them and it will help save water.
2.Choose the best option and explain reasons for choice.Select your best solution to turn into action. Explain why you make this choice over the other possible solutions. Refer back to the criteria and externalities. -I think the overall best option would be setting a water limit. Setting a water limit will decrease how much water is wasted and will teach people how to recycle water and be more aware of their decisions that they are making with their water. Everyone can help save water by doing simple tasks such as shorter showers, turning water off when brushing teeth, and watering there grass less often.
